Workshop: Think through Your Beliefs

What, exactly, do you believe? Why do you believe it? Beliefs are matters of fact (they’re either true or they’re not), but they can’t be proven with the data we have available. Therefore, we must follow evidence and see where the weight of evidence lies.

A thoughtful belief is like a stool that stands on three legs of evidence: facts, reason, and experience. Thoughtful beliefs cannot be easily shaken.

Typically, beliefs are spiritual in nature, but they can be anything that can’t be proved, yet we hold to be true. If you are ready to examine your beliefs by answering some deep questions, join us!
